Yes that's right, I've been working on the same scarf for over a month now.... and most likely will take 2 by the end. In all fairness, this is the first scarf I've ever knitted, and the only thing I'd knitted before that was a hat in High School (a very long time ago).
The one thing I always find when I buy scarfs is that they're not long enough and if they are long enough they're not wide enough. I feel like I see people all the time with the scarf I want but apparently they always hide from me when I try to buy them. I decided I was just going to have to make one myself.
I'm hoping I start to knit faster as it's February and I'd like to be able to 1) use the scarf before winter's over, 2) knit mittens 3) knit a hat and 4) knit toasty socks....... I think I might have to work on these over the summer and then they'll be ready for next winter.
It looks great! with something like that it always takes a long time...I always end up getting super impatient and then making it too short.
